In October we had a fun trip over the kids' break from school to go visit my parents in AZ. On the way out, we ran into one of Cora's besties and her family who happened to be staying at the same hotel as us in Cedar City that first night. Ryan had to stay in UT for the first day or two of the trip since he had to teach his class, so it was just me and the kids on the drive out:

Ivy started feeling sick on the second leg of our trip from Cedar City to Mesa, so she laid down on our lunch stop right there in the restaurant:

When we finally made it to Mesa, we went to dinner first off at Organ Stop Pizza- it really is such a fun place!

One of the days we were there was my 20th high school reunion, and it was so fun to be able to attend that. It was great to see so many friends from high school there!
One of the other evenings we went to my brother and sister-in-law's house, where we ate yummy pizza and played some fun games. Sadly, I didn't get a picture of that.
Most of our time was spent with the kids swimming in my parents' pool. They loved having hours and hours in the pool, and when they weren't swimming they were playing foosball or air hockey in my parents' playroom.
On Sunday morning we visited the Mesa temple, and it was fun to be back where Ryan and I were married and sealed together for eternity!
The new visitor's center was fun for the kids too:
On the way home we made a quick stop to see Horseshoe Bend- while the kids didn't love the surprise hike that included, it was cool to see something so famous!

It was a fun trip back to my hometown, and it was great to see so many family and friends while we were there!
