We had a fun October! Zane played his last outdoor club soccer game this month, and he had such a great season and grew so much as a soccer player. Plus, he has LOVED it!
Ivy got to bring a friend to dance one day this month and she loved it!
Ryan took Zane to a BYU men's soccer game and they had a great time!
Aunt Cami took the girls for a fun GNO where they decorated cookies and sweatshirts and watched a fun Halloween movie:
I took Hyrum to his first in-person General Conference session this month! It was pouring rain but we made it in ok:
It was fun to be there, except Hyrum started feeling sick during the middle of it and ended up throwing up in the bathroom at the conference center right at the end of the session, so we booked it out of there right at the end. So, not the best first experience, but hopefully he'll get the chance for a better experience someday.
Funnily enough, Cora started throwing up at home right around the time Hyrum threw up at the conference center, so they hung out as two sick kiddos in the basement for the rest of the weekend:
These cuties love making forts with blankets:
Ivy had such a fun time decorating cupcakes at her primary activity this month!
Zane and Ivy enjoyed making beards out of masking tape- they are so silly!
I got to chaperone Ivy's field trip to Curiosity Farms this month, and it was fun to be with her and her friends!
She got to feed animals, milk a cow, build stuff, and play on some fun structures:
I tabled for my job at the Major Fair this month, which was pretty fun but a long day:
Uncle Tyler, David, and Addy came to town this month, and we loved hanging out with them for a couple of days. We went to Pizza Pie Cafe, the Nickelcade, and played lots of video games together:
Zane went on a field trip to a place where you are assigned a certain job, and Zane was assigned to work for the electric company. He had a fun time!
We got two tickets to a special concert for Intermountain Children's Health (due to the kids' CF), and it was a really fun event! I took Zane this time, and they took our pictures on the red carpet:
They had a special surprise guest at the end, and it ended up being Post Malone!! It was so cool to hear him sing live with only his guitar:
I helped with a few local campaigns this election season, and the kids were great helpers too!
Zane and Ivy did a great job in the primary program this month! This was Zane's last one, so a little bittersweet, but they were adorable up there!
The older kids were actually in the primary program as well- the youth sang a number with the kids, and Hyrum played his cello with, "I Am a Child of God." They also did a wonderful job. It was my job to watch the instruments during the program:
We got Ivy's dance pictures back this month, and they turned out SO good! She's such a cutie, and her dancing has improved a lot at her new dance studio:
