Gah-woss= gross for Hyrum
Hyrum helping Ryan wash the car:
Hyrum is talking a lot more, loves to play catch and drum, hammer things, have his cars and toys talk to each other
Hyrum fell at a friend’s water party and got a pretty good gash across his forehead and down his nose. He sure enjoyed having a Phineas and Ferb band-aid on his forehead though! Also, he likes to put on Ryan’s dirty socks!
Hyrum now says “Oh my gosh!” and “What the heck?” Apparently these are things I need to cut out of my vocabulary
One of Hyrum’s conversations with himself while playing with his toys-
Truck: Hi, me a truck.
Motorcycle: Me a motorcycle.
Truck: You a motorcycle?
Motorcycle: Yes, yes I am.
Hyrum and Cora made a Father’s Day rap, and dressed the part for the music video:
Hyrum will mimic everything we say and do to Cora, like stroke her cheek and say “hi, cutie” like I do or try to smash her and say “I’ll squish you like a bug!” like Ryan does to Hyrum.
Hyrum with his Lightning McQueen collection:
Cora’s eyes light up when we have a conversation- she loves to talk and talked to!
Right before Cora’s first time swimming:
Cora will giver her biggest smiles right after eating or a good nap
Cora’s 2 month stats: 10 lbs, 5 oz and 23.25 inches
Hyrum’s June stats: 29 pounds, 37.5
Our friends visited one weekend with their kids and we had a great time playing in the pool with our slide:
Later in the afternoon that day, there was a crazy hail storm!:
Cora’s Tummy time= try to eat the blanket and cry until Mommy gives me my binky, then promptly fall asleep
Sibling tummy time:
Ryan tried to feed Cora some brownie at 2 months old! He put it on her binky and gave it to her! I was not happy. I don’t think she actually ate any though. Here’s the proof:
Both kids conked out like this after a fun day playing. They sleep the same! Crazy!
Love this cutie!
Hyrum got a haircut! Before:
After:
You can tell from this pic that Cora’s eyes are dark blue for now. We’ll see if they change:
He gave her a brownie!? HA! (I would have been so mad. Hope it didn't give her a tummy ache). Summer haircuts are the BEST! (esp. when it's 110 outside- ick). We totally need to get the boys together to swim.
