Cora turned three in April! I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting! We were in Disneyland for her actual birthday, where she wore a pin that said “Happy Birthday” (so lots of people told her happy birthday) and got to pick out a special toy there, but we did most of the celebrating at home later with Daddy. (She picked an Anna and Elsa toy at Disneyland).
She got a Hello Kitty nightgown, number and letter magnets, a pink princess piggy bank (which is already broken), and a Minnie MOuse cash register from us:
Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler got her an Elsa hooded towel and Elsa headband (which they got to see her open via Skype):
For breakfast she got Frozen cereal for breakfast (kind of like Lucky Charms), Daddy took her to McDonalds for lunch, and I made her her requested dinner: plain white rice, plain noodles, and watermelon. She also requested brownies AND chocolate chip cookies instead of a cake, and since they were both easy, I complied. Here’s her brownies with candles on it:
We had her birthday party later that week. She chose a Minnie Mouse party, and since this was her only real birthday party in Tucson, we went all out!
All her friends got Minnie or Mickey ears and then took pictures with the Mickey frame:
She had a fun Minnie snack table with pink and chocolate cupcakes, Mickey shaped cheese, grapes, popcorn, veggies, pretzels with pink M&Ms, and pink lemonade:
We decorated sugar cookies (one of Cora’s favorite things to do), where she proceeded to cover it with every type of sprinkle we had:
We played a “find the hidden Mickey/Minnie” game, where I had little Mickey and Minnie cutouts placed all over the house and all the kids got to find them:
Then we opened gifts:
And we all sang to her:
She had a great time and keeps talking about her next Minnie party! Ha! Happy birthday cutie pie!
