Here are all the kids, all ready to go for our first day in matching shirts!
They got to meet Minnie Mouse right away the first day, and Cora was a little shy:
First ride? For Hyrum, Siona, Grandpa, and Tricia, it was Star Tours. For Mindi and Cora (who was too short for Star Tours), it was the Astro Orbiter. Both of my kids got a little scared on their first ride, but they warmed up to it.
Nemo’s Submarine Ride. Easily one of my kids’ favorite rides the whole trip. Not very exciting, but they loved it!
Dumbo!
Cora’s favorite, the carousel. Including the carousel in CA Adventures, I think we rode the carousel 4-6 times. So many I can’t remember!
They got to go to Pixie Hollow and meet some fairies, though Hyrum told me their wings weren’t real because he could see the straps.
Cora went on Snow White’s Scary Adventure without me and got totally freaked out by it (I guess there’s a reason they calll it ‘scary’). She was then too scared to go on a lot of other rides after that, but I forced her to go on Pirates of the Caribbean. She ended up falling asleep on it!
Cinderella!
We went back to the hotel for a couple of hours in the afternoon for some naps and general resting, then we were all ready to stay until the park close that night.
Pluto:
Zane was there for some of the time, see? I had never even seen the baby area at either park before, but ,an, it was fancy! And a really nice place to nurse.
The Monorail:
It’s A Small World. Another one of my kids’ favorites. They really love this song now and sing it all the time! Zane loved this one too- he kept looking around with wide eyes the whole time.
Also, I’m loving my niece’s sassiness in these Small World pictures. Work it, girl!
Tea cups. I went and didn’t get sick! It was our last ride of the night so I figured it would be ok. We also watched the fireworks from the line of the Storyboat Canals ride. It’s actually a really place to see them at! That ride was another of my kids’ favorites. We rode it twice in a row!
Who’s there? White Rabbit?
This is how you have to do it late at night with three kids and only a double stroller:
Pretty castle!
