Zane turned 4 in November! He has wanted a Spiderman birthday for a long time, so I was happy to oblige:
I had to steal Ryan’s Spiderman shirt to fit the theme:
Zane had a little party with his friends, which was pretty much just pizza, cake, and playing. He had a great time!
Ivy really loved the pizza at the party:
The favors:
On Zane’s actual birthday, he was super excited to open his presents! He got a Hulkbuster action figure, a Paw Patrol remote control car, a Superhero pillow from Grandma Schuetzler, and all sorts of other cool things!
Zane chose to go to see a movie for his birthday, so we saw Ralph Breaks the Internet. He got scared during it, but since Zane likes to be scared, he really wants to see the Red Monster again (meaning the giant Ralph made from a bunch of normal-sized Ralphs). He had to choose between a movie or going to the zoo, and as soon as the movie ended he told us, “I changed my mind, I choose the zoo.” Nice try, Zane.
Zane also got lots of extra screen time on his birthday:
Birthday brownies!
We ended the night by going to a big bonfire a friend in our ward does every Black Friday. When we pulled up to the place, Zane said, “where’s the big bomb?” He was a little disappointed it was just a fire and not an exploding bomb, but he did like it anyways
I think he had a fun birthday! Zane has brought craziness to our lives for a few years now, as well as plenty of snuggles and hilarity. He’s smart, loves to read, loves to play with his friends, and is becoming an attentive big brother. His favorites are fruit, meat, super heroes, the color orange, and Teen Titans Go. I sure love this boy!
