Then and Now collages from this month:
Baby Cora, 7 year old Cora!
Feb. 2018 and Feb. 2020-
Summer 2018 and February 2020:
Ivy loves to just give me a big smile when she thinks she's going to get in trouble. It usually doesn't change anything, but it's funny that she tries to pull that!
We all went to see Howie D: Back in the Day at the Rose theater this month! I thought it was super cool to see a Backstreet Boy that close up! And he really does have a great voice!
We went to Zane's parent teacher conference this month for his preschool, and his teacher went on and on about how wonderful he is! She said he's a good leader, follows the rules, is helpful, the schoolwork comes easily, and most surprisingly of all, she said they missed him while he was gone because he brings the calm to class! It's kind of the opposite at home, so I was glad to hear he acts well at school!
We had a family home evening lesson about the chains of Satan and shaking them off, and the kids enjoyed that!
Hyrum told me that when he grows up, he wants to read all day, play video games all night, and spend one hour inventing things at lunchtime every day.
Cora made a board game this month for school called Pet-opoly and we all played it on President's Day:
Cora loves to baby little kids that come over. I babysat a couple kids one day, and she spent the whole time following their two year old around helping her with every little thing. She's also very helpful with Ivy. She's going to be a great babysitter one day!
Cora has gotten so good at blowing gum bubbles!
We had a fun Valentine's Day, though I was sick that day and for about a week afterwards:
The kids' Valentines boxes:
Valentine snack mix:
I had planned to come and help at Hyrum's school Valentine's party, but of course, I was sick, so another mom sent me this picture of the fun:
When I was feeling a little better a couple days later, we were able to do the Valentine's chocolate fondue I had planned!
