November 2020

Google's Then and Nows for the month-

Ivy (Dec. 2017?) to Nov. 2020:
Cora:

Ivy's Preschool this month started off with the letter J- we did a Jelly bean experiment:

We made some strawberry freezer Jam:
We played a pretty, pretty princess Jewelry game:

The next week we did the letter K- we played a Kitten mitten game:
Ivy was a Kangaroo from the book Katy No-Pocket where she hopped around and picked up letters to put in her pouch:
We Kissed some paper with our lipstick on:
And we danced with a Kite:
The last week we did G for Grateful (aka Thanksgiving). Ivy learned to set the table:
Made a headband:
Did a hopping corn science experiment:
And made a thankful turkey (plus a ton of other activities):

Ivy calls Halloween "pumpkin day" and Thankgiving "thank-you day."
Ivy is my little buddy these days, who wants to go wherever I go (and usually has to anyways), and is the only one home with me every afternoon. I am grateful to still have one little one to still be with every day, all day.

Ivy has a really good memory. She'll remind both Ryan and I about small things that happened months to a year ago. She also remembered for a long time that Grandma Schuetzler ate a bite of her cinnamon roll, and she kept reminding Grandma to not do that again!
The kids love our neighbors, and still try to hang out with them even if we're supposed to stay away from everyone per our Governor's order in November:

Zane told me he "bless-you'ed" aka sneezed. He also calls a mechanical pencil a robotic pencil, and it's pretty cute.

We voted this month!
Ryan came down to see the kids playing this game in the basement one day, where they were climbing on the tall tower and then Hyrum would rescue them before it fell down!

Our first big-ish snow of the season! The kids had fun, especially jumping on the trampoline with all the snow:

Since we moved, we have really loved the extra time together on Sundays. We've instituted family cuddle time in the morning, the kids have been loving charades, and Ryan enjoys a weekly nap.
I've been working out five times a week since the pandemic began, minus moving times, and I feel so healthy and strong!
Love this girl! She is growing up so much!
These kids have been pretending to be puppies for the past couple months:

We helped with Sub for Santa at the very end of the month, and we are glad we got to do that service as a family! We got matching shirts too:
