Halloween Activities- Part Two

A couple of days before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins!

Zane (with some help from me) made a Pikachu:

Ivy made a VERY happy face, Hyrum made a character from Among Us (a video game):

Cora made two faces on her pumpkin (which she carved all by herself!), a happy face and an upside down face and Ryan made a dead character from Among Us (to go with Hyrum's):

I made Maleficent:

Cora had to decorate a pumpkin for a school project, so she made a fox from the book Pax:

The kids had to dress up as something from their curriculum for school the day before Halloween, and here's what we came up with- Cora was Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ivy was a princess (she doesn't have school):
Zane was the Big Bad Wolf, and Hyrum was Walt Disney:

Cuties!
Halloween was on a Saturday this year, so we had one other family over for a party in the afternoon to celebrate! I made Frankenstein grape cups, a Jack-o-lantern veggie tray, witch's brew, graveyard pudding cups, and everyone got to make their own spooky pizza. My friend brought cool-looking candy apples and apple mouths:

For games at the party we bobbed for donuts, played pin the mouth on the jack-o-lantern, did a candy walk, and played Bingo:
We also ended up with a mummy competition:

Here's my dressed up cuties! Zane was Squirtle, Ivy was Wonder Woman, Hyrum was Steve from Minecraft, and Cora was Mal from Descendants:

Ryan was Pikachu, to match Zane, and I was Jane, to match Cora:

That night we did go trick-or-treating, however we stayed with just our immediate family, wore masks, only went to houses with candy out in a bowl, stayed only in our neighborhood, and disinfected each piece of candy when we got home. What a weird year.
