Independence Day 2022

We had a fun 4th of July weekend!

We went to the hot air balloon blow-up at the Provo Freedom Festival, and it was pretty cool, though we didn't get to see them take off because of the wind.

I sure do love making holiday themed charcuterie boards:

I took the kids to a colonial fair in Orem the morning of the 4th, where they got to try their hand at carrying water from a well:

We also saw some redcoats and the Continental army:

Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler joined us that afternoon, as well as some friends. We had a delicious BBQ dinner, then the kids had a water balloon and a water gun fight:

The kids all attacked Ryan with the water balloons:

Then we did a few little fireworks and sparklers in the front yard:

Then we watched some fireworks from our backyard. Ivy was a little nervous about them, but Grandma helped her be brave:

I'm grateful I live in the USA, and I'm grateful for a wonderful family to celebrate with!
