July 2022

We had a fun and full month!

We loved holding the piano teacher's baby this month. She's such a cutie!

On Sundays the kids like to do each other's hair (and Daddy's hair). The girls had a lot of fun with Zane's hair one day:

The kids got to visit Ryan's robot, Pepper, this month:

Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler came for a visit this month, and they even got to go see one of Cora's swim meets:

They took the kids to ice cream a few times too:

I took the kids to Splash Summit one day- they really love going there:

We visited the BYU Bookstore one day:

We did a Family Home Evening lesson on King Hezekiah from the Old Testament this month, and the kids wanted to act out being the temple getting destroyed and rebuilt. It was pretty funny:

Zane loves Spiderman!
Hyrum built a mini aircraft carrier out of Legos:

Hyrum and Cora both did great in swim meets this month, even getting some ribbons and medals!
We made tie-dye shirts together this month, and the kids loved it!
My brother and sister-in-law's family came to visit for a day this month, and we had a lot of fun! The kids just hung out at home all morning:

Then we went to Pizza Pie Café and Ryan's office to check out his robot. It's amazing how many of us fit in the elevator:

Then we went to Bridal Veil Falls, where my sister-in-law and the older kids climbed up to the second tier!

Zane had a primary activity this month where they made their own ramen creations. Zane was super excited for us to try his, and he even made a recipe for me to recreate for dinner sometime!

We pulled out the inflatable pool this month, and the kids had a fun time playing in it:
We went kayaking a few times this month, and it was great fun. The first time we went to Jordanelle, since Deer Creek was full. The water was very choppy, but the kids liked swimming in the waves:

Later in the month we went to Deer Creek with friends where we also rented a wave runner again. It was a blast and now our kids want to rent wave runners every weekend:

I took the kids on the hike to Stewart Falls this month. It was a long, moderate hike, but they did great!

It was very refreshing to cool off in the falls in the middle:

Zane found a rock with a fossil in it:
It was beautiful!
