Ryan's parents are moving to Utah, so we decided to go out to North Dakota one last time to visit! On our way out we stopped in Rexburg and had dinner with both our sisters and their families. Then the kids go to pick raspberries at Mindi's house:
On our drive to ND we stopped at a diner for lunch, and they had some HUGE pancakes:
While in ND we went to the Medora Musical. There was a lot of singing and dancing and flashy costumes- it was great fun!
After the musical we got some ice cream in Medora:
The kids loved swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's hot tub while we were there!
Grandpa even got out some fun bubbles and a bubble machine:
One day we went swimming at the local rec center:
We had to check out the Enchanted Highway one more time. It's a little backroad highway with huge metal sculptures along the way. Here were the giant crickets:
And fish:
Quail:
Stagecoach and Teddy Roosevelt:
Giant metal family:
And a knight and dragon:
Geese sculpture:
One morning I took Cora horseback riding for her summer date in Medora. She LOVED it. There were some kittens running around the barn while we were waiting, and Cora loved playing with them.
Cora's horse was named Joey, and mine was named Rutger. Cora did a great job keeping her horse in line, even when he wanted to eat grass!
After the horseback ride the rest of the family joined us for a picnic in the Roosevelt national park:
Then we went on a little hike up to a beautiful view:

Our last night in ND we had s'mores:
On our LONG drive home we stopped for lunch at a friend's house in Casper, WY. Our kids really liked playing with their dog:
We had a great trip to North Dakota! It's still hard to believe it's probably our last one ever!
