Disneyland Summer 2023- Part 2

Our second full day in California we went to California Adventure. The morning started out with a surprise sighting of Aunty Savili! She was there with some friends and we didn't know, so it was fun to catch up with her for a minute while we waited for the park to open:

Red trolley:

Our first ride was the ferris wheel. Me, Hyrum, and Ivy took the non-swinging gondolas, and even that was a bit too scary for Hyrum (and me a little):

Ryan, Cora, and Zane took a swinging gondola, and none of them were scared:

Everyone who went loved the Incredicoaster (Zane is in the picture next to Ryan, he's just too short for you to see his head):

Fun at Pixar Pier:

Ivy got to meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible:
We loved Jesse's carrousel:

Monsters Inc ride:

These kids liked the rapids ride, and they liked wearing ponchos so they didn't get wet. Me and Ivy rode the Little Mermaid ride while we waited for them, and that was one of Ivy's favorite rides of the whole trip:

Meeting Mater in Cars Land:

We rode Mater's Backyard Jamboree, though it ended up being terrifying for Ivy:

Meeting Guido:

Ivy was pretty nervous to go on the Roadster Racers ride, but she did end up going with us (and hated it):

The new Guardians of the Galaxy ride was my favorite of the whole trip! I loved the change:

We also loved the new Marvel land. It was pretty cool! We saw Dr. Strange and some Wakanda warriors:

The kids got a high five from Spiderman, saw him jump across buildings, and had fun on his ride:

Eating lunch at Pym Test Labs was the most fun meal of the trip! We had a giant meatball and pretzel, a tiny bun on a chicken sandwich, and an impossible peanut butter sandwich:

Zane met Captain America and Ironman:

Zane and Hyrum even picked their souvenirs from Avengers Campus- Wakandan spears:

The Dr. Strange show was pretty cool too:

Ivy picked a bubble wand for her souvenir, and she's still enjoying it!
We saw Mickey's Philharmagic:
Me and the girls went to the Disney Jr. dance party and Ivy loved it!
After we did almost all the rides at California Adventure, me and the three younger kids headed back to the hotel. We made sure to get some ice cream on the way out though:

At the hotel the kids swam for an hour or two, and they loved it:
While me and the other kids swam, Ryan and Hyrum headed over to Disneyland to ride Rise of the Resistance. They waited in line to ride it two times in a row!

They also got some Ronto Roasters:
