Halloween Activities 2023- Part 1

We did a lot of fun Halloween things in October! We started the month off at our school's Halloween carnival, where the kids played games, saw Cosmo, went through a little haunted house, and trunk-or-treated. Cora and I had to work at the event, me as a ticket seller for PTA and Cora as a helper with student council. It was fun!

Zane dressed up with his best friend as Mario and Luigi:

Both Zane and Ivy got to pie our friend and teacher in the face- they loved it!

A couple weeks later I took the younger three to our city's Boo-A-Palooza where they got to trick-or-treat:

There were fun decorations around as well as the Chick-Fil-A cow:

I made a lot of fun Halloween food for the kids this month, including sandwich spiders, ghost pancakes, muffin tin snack, mummy hot dogs, apple teeth, and a man's ribs:

Zane got to dress up for his tumbling class this month!

I got to go with Ivy on her field trip to Wilkerson Farm. It was fun to do the rides with her!

Cora went to a Halloween event at Provo Beach with a couple of friends in October, and they had a really fun time- Cora even got this cute little octopus:

We took the kids to Hee-Haw farms in October:

We were lucky enough to be there when they were doing their pumpkin drop, so we got to see some huge (and small) pumpkins be dropped from a crane:
This was the biggest pumpkin grown in Utah this year, and we got to see it be smashed!

The kids had fun doing the rides and playing with all the things, though it was super cold and we weren't prepared for that so we didn't last as long as we thought we would there:

The kids liked feeding and petting the goats and pigs too:

Fun times on the tire swings:

Learning to rope a cow:
