We went to a fun couples Halloween party in October, where Ryan and I dressed as Princess Leia and Han Solo:
More fun Halloween food, this time jack-o-lantern quesadillas and graveyard pudding:
We also made our traditional homemade Halloween pizzas:
And we carved pumpkins with Cami and Dallen!
Ryan's pumpkin was a face within a face, and yes, it had a bum:
Hyrum's was a face free-hanging (the opposite of Ryan's):
Cora's was the Sanderson sisters:
Ivy's was a cat, with a tail on the back:
Mine was the Mario star:
Zane's was Bowser from Mario:
They looked cool all lit up!
I had to wear my skeleton earrings for Halloween day:
It was a great Halloween this year!
The kids got all dressed up for school on Halloween. Ivy was Cruella DeVil, Cora was Hermione, Hyrum was a Game Boy, and Zane was Luigi:
At school the elementary had a costume parade:
That afternoon I got to help at Ivy's class party! She did a mad scientist experiment, did mummy bowling, and played Don't Eat Pete:
At BYU, Ryan had to teach his classes, but he made sure to do it in his piranha plant costume. His dean dressed up like Dolores Umbridge and posted "decrees" all over his building, lol:
For dinner on Halloween we had spooky charcuterie, including homemade witch finger breadsticks:
Ivy and Cora got into their real costumes for trick-or-treating, Princess Peach and Princess Rosalina:
Our whole family was Mario themed:
Me and Zane trying to do the Mario jump:
The kids' cousins came over to join us for dinner and trick-or-treating. It was fun to be able to hang with them on Halloween! Also, Zane hijacked the girls' picture with a Luigi jump:
The kids had a great time trick-or-treating around our neighborhood, and I enjoyed being warm while I handed out candy!
It was a great Halloween this year!
