Zane had a birthday this November! We had fun celebrating him. On his birthday he decided he didn't want breakfast in bed because since he's always the first one up, he didn't want to have to wait in bed for a long time for breakfast. He did get crepes though once the rest of us woke up!
He couldn't wait to open his presents- here he is with them, my cute ten-year-old:
He requested a baby Yoda theme for his balloons and table decorations for his birthday:
He got some great presents! He got a bunch of Beyblade stuff, a jellyfish lamp, a game, a bubble wand, and a Dude Perfect shirt and hat that he's been wearing nonstop:
Zane had volleyball practice the morning of his birthday and he decided he still wanted to go. His coach and team surprised him with a birthday sign and they sang to him!
For lunch and for his family activity we went to TopGolf. Dallen and Cami were able to join us, which was fun too! Zane did amazing, and won a bunch of the games.
Dallen and Cami brought a fun gift for him- Rock 'Em Sock 'Em robots:
Ivy was dancing with her golf clubs for a bit at TopGolf:
It was also the kids' piano concert on Zane's birthday, but he was a good sport and was happy to do it. His piano teacher even had the whole audience sing to him for his birthday too:
Later that night we celebrated his birthday at home with chicken tacos, apples and caramel, chocolate milk, and a Dairy Queen cookies and cream cake:
We love Zane and were glad to celebrate him! Zane loves his birthday, so he was really excited and appreciative of all the festivities. Zane is energetic, witty, smart, kind, and loves to be the center of attention in our home. He loves trick shots and Dude Perfect, any type of sugar, graphic novels about history, playing outside, board games, and wearing a baseball hat backwards all day, every day. He has tried a few new sports this year, like swim team and pickleball, as well as loving choir and being part of a winning team for both the Knowledge Bowl and 2nd place for Battle of the Books at school! We love Zane and the spice he adds to our family!
