You can see by his pink hands, he liked putting his whole hand in the container with the egg. A few of our eggs turned out brownish, because he would just pop eggs in the containers, and he was too cute to watch to try and stop him. And, a lot of the eggs got broken (he doesn’t really know about being gentle yet). But again, he was just too cute to stop!
I love this picture of Hyrum! His face reminds me of Calvin in a Calvin and Hobbes comic:
Hyrum was pretty excited to see his Easter basket Saturday morning. He really liked his car ramp, Color Wonder markers, Elmo cell phone, and Easter book.
Ryan liked his Pentago game:
And I liked my assortment of gifts (yeah, it was early):
Hyrum really liked hunting for Easter eggs. His Grandma and Grandpa Martin were able to come down and help with his hunt. At first he needed a lot of help, but by the end he was pretty good at looking in the plants for the eggs.
Hyrum kept saying “ooo!” and “wooow!” when he would see an egg. Here he is showing me one of his treasures:
Hyrum has been asking me for chocolate ever since that morning. He REALLY loves Hershey’s kisses!
Of course the best part about Easter is spending time reflecting on the life of the Savior, His mission on Earth, and His place in my life today. I am so grateful for the Atonement in my life, and to have the opportunity every day to get to know Jesus Christ better so I can try to be more like Him. I know He lives!
