Rooms Redo

I just can’t seem to leave anything alone at our house, so I have made some changes throughout. When my mother-in-law suggested painting this wall red, I decided she was right (thanks Cindy!)-

You can’t really tell in my picture, but I painted the wall using wash technique (I think that’s what they call it). It turned out with a really nice, subtle texture.

The dining area has seemed bare to me for awhile, so my mom took me to Big Lots and let me pick out some things. Thanks mom! Oh, and we’ve had the new table for awhile (the old table is now the desk in our bedroom).

Since I posted on Facebook about not being sure about these curtains, I have since decided they are fine.

I had to some rearranging of things with the new baby coming and needing a room and all, so my craft/scrapbooking area was moved to our Master.

My parents gave me an old painting they used to have up in their house, and I just updated it a little by painting the frame. The black frame matches a grouping of black framed things on the opposite wall, which I didn’t take a pic of. Sorry! Also, Hyrum really wanted to be in these pictures.

There are more changes coming! I just wish we could paint the baby’s room, but since we aren’t 100% sure it’s a girl, we’ll just have to wait till she comes!
