We had some leftover toilet paper from class parties, so we decided to make these cuties into mummies:
Cora had her last soccer game this month (a lot of rescheduled games due to weather) and she got a medal!
Hyrum started cub scouts this month! So far, he loves it!
Ivy has started saying syllables, but let it be noted that her first word was “muh-muh” aka, mama! She knows if she yells this she will get attention, so I say she knows it means me
Mindi got the kids these fun capes and masks:
Hyrum couldn’t sleep one night, so he came down asking me for a hug and kiss since I hadn’t given him one earlier. He then said, “I can go to sleep now- I think you have a magic hug and kiss.” Melt my heart!
Ivy has been army crawling tons, but has also started to just get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. So maybe the real crawling is coming!
Ever since Halloween, Zane’s prayers always include, “thankful we go trick-or-treating, not go trick-or-treating anymore” plus the usual prayers beginnings and endings. I guess he really loved trick or treating!
Cora came home one day this month and told me, “I have a boyfriend” and gave me a sly little smile! When questioned about it further, she really has no idea what that means, but man those things start early!
Cora became a word star this month, which means she knows all the kindergarten sight words! Way to go Cora! Me and Mindi got to go to the assembly where she received her award:
Ivy always gives Ryan the biggest smiles when she’s supposed to be nursing at bedtime. She’ll nurse, nurse, nurse, then BIG smile for Ryan, then nurse, nurse, nurse, BIG smile for Ryan. She loves her daddy!
Zane loves his dino sweater and tail he got for his birthday!
My parents took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese for Zane’s birthday, and they had a great time, though Zane did get stuck in the playplace:
Love this guy!
I always tell Zane, “night night, I love you!” before I put him in bed, and lately he’s started to say it back every time and it’s the cutest thing ever!
Cora has started saying things like “delish” for delicious, which makes me wonder if she’s turning into a valley girl sometimes…
Cora is just the sweetest big sister, and she loves little Ivy so much!
Zane loves meat, fruit, and milk, so that’s pretty much all he eats!
Ivy is starting to climb and get into lots more things:
We tried potty training Zane this month and it didn’t go very well. I gave up on the third day as it was getting super frustrating. However, Zane did get hand foot and mouth disease on day one of potty training, and it turned out being a pretty bad case of it, so I’m hoping that was the problem. We’ll try again in January!
Hyrum started drawing some monster drawings this month that I actually thought were pretty creative and had a real style to them. That boy always impresses me!
Zane feeding Ivy- and he actually did a decent job!
