Zane turned three in November! He got to have a birthday party with some of his friends to celebrate. He decided he wanted a dinosaur party, so we went with it.
The kids decorated a bag with stickers and stamps:
The kids each got some play dough and could make fossils with it with some of our dinosaurs:
We also had a fossil dig set up in the garage (with space heaters running) where the kids could dig up jewels, rocks, and dinosaur bones:
We had a triceratops piñata too:
And then of course, cake and ice cream:
And presents!
Which he enjoyed playing with right away:
And dinosaur masks for everyone:
We celebrated his birthday with the family the next week, and he was so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Martin and Aunt Mindi there to celebrate with as well! Grandma and Grandpa even took him and the other kids to Chuck-e-Cheese to celebrate!
He had Lucky Charms for breakfast and then presents!
Some highlights were a balance bike, Paw Patroller, and Duplos, which he played with with Aunt Mindi all morning:
We took him to Chick-fil-a for lunch where he got to play at the playplace. We had meatballs and watermelon for dinner, and then brownies for ice cream for dessert:
Happy birthday to our little Z! He certainly makes life interesting! He likes to do crazy things, but then gives just the most adorable little grin so I can’t even be mad at him. I feel like he has kind of a mischievous face, maybe a little like how I imagine Peter Pan. He is also very loving, loves to read dinosaur books, all-boy, loves fruit and meat only, loves to yell-sing, and is just my favorite little boy in the whole world. He melts my heart for sure!
