We did a lot of fun Christmas activities this year! We saw Santa at our local grocery store:
Though Zane hid and did not want to see himL
We took fun pictures for Grandma and Grandpa with the lights:
Baby’s First Christmas!
We decorated the Christmas tree:
We went to our ward’s fun Christmas party and saw Santa again, and amazingly- no one cried!
The ward also had a variety show, where all the primary kids sang some Christmas songs, the Relief Society sang some songs, and Ryan and the Elder’s Quorum did a hilarious skit to the 12 Days of Christmas that has already become kind of legendary (pi-kah!).
We decorated the house for Christmas, including hanging our stockings:
I got to help at Hyrum’s school winter party (including making a snowman toss). After he finished his snack, I found him reading a book!
I got to sneak into Cora’s class too to see her enjoying her school party:
We got to decorate gingerbread houses with friends!
And Zane decided to actually eat his, dinosaur style:
We decorated sugar cookies to give to friends and Santa:
Our friends invited us over to act out a nativity, and they had super fun costumes! Zane was a wise man, Cora was a sheep, Hyrum was Joseph, and Ryan was a shepherd:
After Christmas, Ryan took Zane and Cora to the gingerbread festival (I stayed home with sick Hyrum and baby Ivy). They said it awesome, and they loved the Yoda gingerbread and the Lord of the Rings gingerbread!
And they got to pull the handcart a little:
So many fun things to fit into December!
