Christmas Activities 2022 Part 1

On Black Friday we went to the mall to see Santa come by helicopter! It was a very long wait, so the kids met Jack Skellington and had some donuts while we waited:

It was pretty cool to see the helicopter with Santa come:

Then we went in the mall and met Willy the Wolverine from UVU again:
And we did some giving at the Giving Machine:

And we saw some cool gingerbread houses:

One day after Thanksgiving Cora got to sing with her school choir at Vineyard's tree lighting. It was super windy and freezing, and it started to snow a ton right when they were finished, but it was actually pretty and brought me all the Christmas feels, so I'm glad she got to do it and that me and Zane got to watch her:

We checked out some of the displays at Riverwoods:

We got to go to Cora's Christmas choir concert. She did a great job and we loved to hear her choir sing:

Zane loves messing with the puzzle reindeer in our decorations:

We got to attend Hyrum's Christmas orchestra concert too- his group is getting so much better, and Hyrum is really loving to play the cello:
Ivy had the opportunity to dance in her studio's version of the Nutcracker at the Festival of Trees. She did a dance to the Mother Ginger song, and she did awesome!

She was lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents there to cheer her on, though I only got a picture with Grandma and Grandpa Martin:

After Ivy danced we looked at all the cool trees people had decorated. We liked an Encanto one, the Peacock one, Jack Skellington, Crumbl, and BYU:
