Halloween 2022

Our October was jam-packed full of Halloween fun! I won a Haunted House gingerbread house that the kids loved decorating:

Me and the three younger kids went to their school's Halloween carnival and had a great time!

They got their faces painted:

They played an in-person version of hungry, hungry, hippo:
They got cotton candy:
Did a sack race:
Pet some animals:

And threw pies at their teachers:

One rainy Saturday we went to the Wilkerson Fall Fair. We did the corn maze:
We rode some rides- there were a lot of spinny ones, so Zane ended up throwing up, but they still had fun:

Ivy had fun in the corn pits and all around the fair:

Hay ride:
Ferris wheel:

And we picked pumpkins!

When Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler were with us one Sunday, Grandma made some pretty awesome Halloween-shaped pancakes, including a werewolf:

We love Halloween-themed food!
I got to go out with some friends to Witchapalooza one night!

We made our traditional homemade spooky pizzas:

We decorated some Halloween cupcakes:

Graveyard pudding:

Carving pumpkins!

Ivy carved a cat (she is big enough now to do a lot of the carving!), Cora carved a paw print:

Zane carved Dr. Strange's eye of agamotto, and Hyrum carved a cello:

Rib dinner:

We put together a trunk for foster kids to come trunk or treat at one night:

The elementary had a costume parade the morning of Halloween:

I got to help in Ivy's classroom for their Halloween party:

I also got to help in Cora's classroom for her party (hers was Harry Potter themed):

Halloween dinner! Witch breadsticks, spooky charcuterie, and jack-o-lantern veggies:

Zane was Dr. Strange for Halloween:
Ivy was Addison (cheerleader version) from ZOMBIES:

Hyrum was Ironman, and Cora was Addison (alien version) from ZOMBIES:

Ryan was Zed (the Zombie) from ZOMBIES to match the girls:
I was Black Widow to match the boys:

Grandma and Grandpa Martin were with us for Halloween again this year. They were so nice to pass out candy so Ryan and I could take the kids around trick-or-treating:

Hyrum with his best friend:

All the kids went trick-or-treating with friends, and man, we just have the perfect neighborhood for trick-or-treating. People give out good stuff, almost every house participates, the houses are kind of close together, some houses decorate so awesomely, and it's just fun to be out seeing all our neighbors and friends!
