Cora had a great birthday! We had a family dinner the Sunday before her birthday with pulled pork, watermelon, rolls, and mashed potatoes. She was lucky to have extra family there like Uncle Dallen and Aunt Cami and Great-Aunt Leslie and Great-Uncle Jerry:
Later that week she got to take two of her besties to lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe after school:
On her actual birthday, she got crepes for breakfast in bed:
Then she opened her presents: Crocs, roller blades, phone case, hair tie bracelets, and a new curling iron:
Later that evening we went to Olive Garden, where she got a free chocolate cake:
Then we split into a boys team and a girls team and did an Amazing Race! It was so fun, and all the guests laughed a lot. The girls team finished first, but the boys did a little better with their challenges, so we called it a tie:
Then we all sang to her with her Oreo ice cream cake and she opened presents:
I think she had a fun birthday!
Cora is adventurous, fun to hang out with, sometimes sassy and sometimes chill, smart, and helpful. She loves cheer, friends, babysitting, getting her nails done, shopping, learning Spanish, and jumping on the trampoline. She has grown up so much this past year, and is loving being an official teenager (though she's considered herself a teen for a long time now). We love her so much and are so grateful to have her in our family!
