Las Vegas Trip 2025- Part 1

Our family went on a trip to Las Vegas over Spring Break this year and it was so fun!

The kids enjoyed having lots of space at the timeshare we stayed in:

Our first morning we had to go to the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and get lots of pictures:

Then we went to the huge Hershey's store, where we saw a lot of fun merchandise:

We even saw a Statue of Liberty made out of chocolate and one made of Twizzlers:

The New York themed hotel was fun to see, especially since we knew Ryan and I would be heading to the real New York a few weeks later:

Next we went to the big M&Ms store that also had a lot of fun merch:

Last we hit the Coca Cola store:

We tried their sodas and floats from around the world, which was actually really fun. Some were disgusting (I'm looking at you, Fanta Sour Plum- tasted like drinking a hot dog). Here were our favorites:
Ivy- coke float, Del Valle Jamaica Y Nada
Zane- Aquarius Libre
Cora- Sparletta Sparberry, sprite and orange soda floats
Hyrum- Aquarius Libre, Sprite Cucumber, plain ice cream
Tricia- Sprite Cucumber, Fanta Melon Frosty, Red crème float
Ryan- Inca Kola, Fanta Melon Frosty, Fanta Strawberry

We walked through a lot of hotels, and we found this fun giant high heel in the Cosmopolitan:

We saw the fake Eiffel Tower too!

The Bellagio had a pretty sculpture in their lobby:

I loved the Bellagio conservatory:

We also got some delicious gelato while we were waiting for the fountain show at Bellagio. The show was fun!

Then Ryan and Zane went back to the Hershey's store to get Zane a souvenir and the car, and the rest of us walked to Caesar's Palace:

We saw some more fun stuff on our way to the High Roller:

Then we all met up at the High Roller, which was only a little scary for me, and it was cool to see Las Vegas from that high! Here we are with our view of the Sphere:

Probably our favorite activity of the whole trip was that night when we got to see a Cirque du Soleil show, Mystere. It was mind blowing the things those performers were able to do:

The next day we went to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for some outdoor fun and hiking. The kids started with a scavenger hunt around the visitor center:

Zane and Ivy became Jr Rangers:

Then we saw the beautiful Red Rocks:

We saw some petroglyphs on the Willow Springs Loop:

We also checked out the Lost Creek Children's Discovery Trail:

We even got to see a little waterfall that isn't usually there because of the rain that morning:

On our way back from Red Rock, we stopped at Bojangles for lunch. We got a giant box full of chicken strips, lemonade, biscuits, and sides- it was sooo good!

The kids enjoyed the activities at our timeshare in the evenings- pool, ping pong, mini golf, and swimming (even though it was a bit chilly for swimming):

That night we went to dinner at Steak n' Shake, where Cora discovered she does like hamburgers and we all had yummy shakes!
