We loved celebrating Jesus Christ's Atonement and Resurrection this Easter! We went to a great ward party that taught us a lot about Jesus' last week of his earthly life:
The kids sang a wonderful song at the party too:
Easter muffin tin snack:
The kids did our neighborhood Easter walk, and also did our family's Easter egg hunt in our house:
This was the first year we've had the older kids help hide eggs, and they did a great job and loved doing it! Hyrum hid eggs on the main floor, Ryan hid eggs upstairs, and Cora hid eggs in the basement, and then they looked for eggs on the floors they didn't hide eggs.
We dyed eggs too! We weren't sure if we would since egg prices had been crazy, but happily they went down again right before Easter. The kids all made some great looking eggs:
We had our Jesus dinner the night before Easter, somewhat based off of Jesus' Last Supper:
We also made Resurrection Rolls:
I spoke on Easter Sunday at church, and we had a wonderful, spiritual service.
That evening we had a delicious Easter dinner at home!
I love celebrating Jesus Christ, and I was especially grateful to focus on Him during an especially busy month this year. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves us!
