We did some extra fun summer things in the month of June! I took the kids to Imaginaria at Ashton Gardens before it got too hot. They had different themed sections throughout the gardens with different activities and crafts the kids could do. It all started with this talking tree:
We saw the dino land:
There was a magic door to go through:
Ivy enjoyed the fairy area, where she made some fairy wings and there were pretty sculptures:
Flowers to see and flowers to sit on:
There were lots of cute fairy houses:
And there were other fun places to play:
There was an under the sea area where Ivy made this bubble wand and the other kids put together a seedling as a little plant:
Bug land:
The rose garden was so pretty with so many roses in bloom!
One of the hikes we went on this month was to Gloria Falls, and it might be my favorite hike I've done! The scenery getting to the falls was pretty, the air temperature was so much cooler, and the falls were so impressive. Hyrum was at trek, so he didn't join us for this one:
Another hike we did was to Donut Falls. We couldn't climb up to see the donut part (many signs said it wasn't safe), but it was still a good hike with a little stream crossing and some big trees:
