Cora had been excited for her 8th birthday party pretty much since she turned seven, so her having to keep delaying it was probably the hardest thing for her during the pandemic. I always promised her we would do it before we moved away, so we had to do it in July! We kept the party small and just went for it. She has planned on having a Beanie Boo party for a VERY long time, so I was glad we could finally make it happen!
The girls each got to pick a Beanie Boo to keep, as well as a collar and a leash:
Prize bags for their candy and Beanie Boo:
They got to design their own Beanie Boo, by coloring different templates I laid out:
They each got to fill out an adoption certificate:
We had a doctor center, where they could give their new pets a check-up:
They all had a lot of fun, especially Cora:

After coloring and doctoring and all that, the girls played one of Cora's favorite games- Twister. Then they played Beanie Boo Bingo!
Then it was snack time- we had a lot of pet-themed treats:
Cake time! Cora really wanted a Cold Stone cookies and cream ice cream cake, and since we were busy with the move and everything, I was happy to oblige. It was easy to add a Beanie Boo on top!
Of course, she loved all the presents from her friends:
And then we ended the party with a puppy pinata!
It was a really fun party, and I am so glad we were able to celebrate Cora with her friends before we left!
