Cora's Baptism!

Cora's baptism was originally scheduled for the day after her birthday in April, but with the pandemic, we had to keep pushing it back, especially since she really wanted her family and best friend to be able to come for it. So, we were finally able to have her baptism with family and her best friend on July 4th! Other family was able to watch it on Zoom, so that was cool.

Here's her baptism pictures:

The day came! It will be an easy day to remember- she was baptized on Independence Day!

We were so grateful that we were able to have some family participate:

Here's the program from the service:

Rainbow decorations for the lunch after:

We had crockpot mac and cheese, rolls, and watermelon for lunch, as Cora requested.

It was a special morning, and I was really just so grateful we were able to make it happen before we moved away from Nebraska, that family was able to be there, and that we could have the rest of our family watching all over the country! Cora is really such a strong, faithful girl. I am proud of her for making this decision to be baptized!
