Google made me lots of "Then and Now"s this month:
Ivy loves to sing, and especially lately we can hear her singing the beginning lines of The Circle of Life song, but her version- "Maaa, zempetunya, awa goo chee baba!"Zane was so happy about something one day he told us it was "gooder than a big box of babies."
When we made Hyrum come downstairs to help with something one day, he told us, "you don't respect my reading!"
Cora has begun a major Descendants obsession this summer, and has now watched all the movies a few times now, and has Alexa play the soundtrack all the time!
We looked for a few more benches in Papillion at the beginning of July, though it was too hot for the kids to actually enjoy it:
The kids built this blanket fort one day:
We did some pop bottle painting one day (our plan for the summer instead of a summer fun list- because of Covid- was to do one new thing every day, and this was it one day):
We all went to Ryan's office one last time after he had packed up all his stuff. Kinda sad:
A Sunday walk to see all the things that help us remember God, and also, last picture with the fields at the end of our street!
We went to a local splash pad for some fun:
We saw a Monarch butterfly there that kept hanging out near us, and we decided it was like it was saying goodbye to us:
Ivy doesn't like to play in the water at splash pads, so she mostly hung out with me:
It's always fun when everyone squishes onto one couch:
Hyrum built a board game from Legos, and we all had fun playing it!
Last trip to Eileen's cookies:
We had a drive-thru goodbye party our last Saturday in Nebraska, and it was great to see the friends who made it out for that. Here's Zane getting bored waiting:
This was our first time to church in four months, and also our last time going to church in Nebraska:
Such a weird time- having a load of masks to wash and dry every week:
Our friends in Nebraska let us use their pool before we left, and the kids loved it! They have been missing swimming this summer:
Last picture in front of our house- and it was taken right before me and the kids began our drive to CO, then UT.
First picture together with our new house (final walk-through)!
We took the kids to visit BYU while we waited for our new house to close:
Mindi came down from Idaho to visit and help with kids while we moved in!
Fun things inside the BYU Bookstore:
Mindi drove our trampoline from Arizona, up to Idaho, then back down to Utah so we could have one for the kids to play with this summer. The kids have loved it and we are so grateful!
Ivy loves the show Fancy Nancy, and thus likes to wear frilly outfits, dresses, and jewelry. She likes to be "sty-lee-ish"
Mindi and I took a trip to Ikea to look for some things we needed- it was fun!
