We had a fun and busy month!
Cora had a competition, and they won first place!
Hyrum went on his orchestra "tour" to SLC where he got to play at the capitol building!
While I was in AZ with Hyrum, Ryan took the kids to visit Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler in Smithfield. They had fun getting ice cream at USU:
They looked for golf balls and did some putting off the porch:
They also went down to the real golf course to try out some golf ball hits:
Hyrum and I went up to meet everyone on Sunday after we returned, and we went to church, made some s'mores, and went hot tubbing:
The next morning we went to a fun pancake place in Logan where they had huge stacks of pancakes:
Ryan went with Ivy on her class field trip this month- she had a lot of fun at the Children's Museum:
Ryan and I took the younger three kids to Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Hale Theater this month, and it was pretty funny!
We went on a fun group date with some friends this month to Thai food and DryBar:
Ivy has such a fun little primary class!
Both Zane and Ivy participated in Battle of the Books this month. They both made it pretty far!
Zane had his last basketball game this month- he really enjoyed playing and made some good baskets. Ryan was also an assistant coach for his team!
Ivy had her first dance competition of the season this month! Their team did great, and their studio won the overall award!
Here's pictures from her River Deep, Mountain High jazz dance:
Here's pictures from her Dreaming of You lyrical dance:
We went to the park as a family on a random day off, and we had fun playing on the swings and playing basketball:
Then we grabbed Ryan (and Hyrum went to Oklahoma practice) and went to an Indian restaurant for lunch. It was the kids' first time, and they liked the lassie, naan, and butter chicken:
Ivy bit her bread into a fun shape:
We went to Hyrum's end-of-season banquet for his high school swim team, which was luau-themed:
He got an award for being on varsity and he got the Sophomore Swimmer of the Year award! He really wanted that award and worked hard all season long to get it, so he was super happy. It helped that he had such great swims at high school state this year!
Ivy performed at a high school drill team performance this month, and Grandma and Grandpa Martin were able to come watch!
Hyrum had his last-ever piano recital this month. He did really well and played some hard pieces. He was actually being judged while he played, and he got the best score you could get!
Zane competed in Knowledge Bowl this month! The subject was geography, and he did a great job learning as much as he could.
Grandma and Grandpa Martin even got to come watch him compete!
Zane's hair got so long this month that I was able to do a couple french braids in church one day:
Then he finally got a haircut! They styled it in the popular way for boys at the barbershop:
We celebrated Pi day (a day late) this year with some homemade chicken pot pie and homemade Dutch apple pie:
St. Patrick's Day leprechaun hunt!
Cora got to go to the temple for YW this month:
Hyrum had a regional competition for orchestra this month and he did great! They even qualified for state!
Ivy and Zane had a choir festival for their school district this month, and I was able to chaperone. Ivy stole my phone for a bit on the bus and took LOTS of pictures:
Our family got to attend the Lindon temple open house this month together, and it was such a beautiful experience to have together:
