Cora turned 14 and we loved celebrating her! She got breakfast in bed on her birthday (crepes with Nutella and whipped cream):
Then she opened her presents where she got a curling iron, new phone case, some outfits, a pebble ice maker and more!
I brought her Costa Vida at school for lunch, and then she had pulled pork, crockpot mac and cheese, and chocolate cake at home for dinner that night with the family:
A week later she had a few friends over for her birthday party that she planned herself! They played the seran wrap ball game, they tried to eat donuts on a string:
Did a gummy bear hunt in a pie tin full of whipped cream:
Did each other's make-up while blindfolded:
And then showed off their beautiful make-up at our local grocery store, where her friends also sang to her at the top of their lungs:
Then she opened her presents, and had some ice cream cake:
She had a great party with some great friends!
Happy birthday to our beautiful, wonderful teenage daughter! Cora is spunky, loves to tease, adventurous, smart, dedicated, and keeps her cool in stressful situations. She loves to hang out with friends, get her nails done, cheer, Doritos, Swig, ice, and roller coasters. This year she has been on two cheer teams, rediscovered her love of reading, gotten pretty good at piano (much to her dismay), and worn big, soft hoodies as much as she could. We love having her in our family and are grateful for the fun vibe she brings us!
