Ryan took Cora to her Super Nationals cheer competition in Anaheim, California in March. Here she is, sleepy with plenty or room to lay down on their pretty empty flight to CA:
She competed on two days in a row, and they won the highest score of their whole division!
They got these cool jackets for being the division champions:
When Cora wasn't competing, she and Ryan had some other fun. They went swimming with friends, went shopping, got yummy treats, went around Downtown Disney, and went to a movie together!
They both loved this gelati place, and ended up going there multiple times:
The week after Ryan Cora got back from CA, me and Hyrum headed to Mesa, Arizona for his Zones swim meet:
It was very hot- over 100 degrees, but we stayed in the shade or inside as much as possible and survived. It was nice that the swim meet was in Mesa because we got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Martin!
The first night we went to Organ Stop Pizza- one of Hyrum's favorites:
Eating dinner in the airport on the way home, Hyrum ordered an entire baguette all for himself- and he ate it all, plus mac and cheese!
Hyrum did great at his swim meet, even getting faster in most of his events:
Hyrum did get to come back for one final to be on a relay team! He had fun with this great group of UVRays:
There were these grasshoppers all over the swim meet venue, and it was pretty scary when they'd jump right on you:
During the break on one of the days we went to the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix- Hyrum loved it!
We also got to stop by and visit some Aunt Savili and Uncle James and cousins, plus some family friends- it was nice to see them all!
We were able to go to my nieces' and nephews' performance in the Aloha Festival in AZ right before our flight- they did amazing! It was crazy hot- so hot that Grandpa Martin passed out for a bit, but everything ended ok.
