Our next stop on our trip was St. Louis, MO. It's amazing how much family friendly things there are to do there for free!
Their amazing zoo is one of those places that's free, though we paid extra to do all the rides and shows:
They have a sea lion show, which was one of the best aquatic animal shows I've ever seen. We also got to pet the sting rays, which was one of Ryan's favorite parts of the whole trip!
The zoo animal themed carousel was cool:
We even got to see a "4D" movie!
Hyrum and Ryan loved seeing a snake get fed its dinner of mice:
The next day we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, which also happened to be free the day we went (totally not planned)!
They had a cute little place for kids to play:
Chinese garden:
Japanese garden:
The kids really loved feeding the koi fish, and I think that was their favorite part of the gardens!
They have a children's garden with a lot of interactive parts:
There was also a splash pad, where Hyrum and Zane got soaked but had so much fun:
That night we went to the Delmar loop for dinner. It has stars on the sidewalks of famous St. Louisans which was fun to see, as well as lots of cool looking restaurants and shops. Here we are with Chuck Barry:
We ate at Salt+Smoke, where Ryan said they had the best ribs he's ever had!
Finished the day with some delicious warm cookies from Insomnia cookies!
