Summer Fun 2019- Part 2

We've had a really great summer! The second half we did lots more things, like:

Swim lessons at Papio Bay! The kids all did really, really great this year. They all passed their classes, even though it was hard work for a few of them! I would even say Cora is now a swimmer!

We went to the String Beans concert at Shadow Lake Town Center, where the kids enjoyed the music, dancing, stickers, and splash pad!

Then we went and got some ice cream at Dairy Queen afterwards:

Family game night, where each kid chose a board game that we played, was pretty awesome:

Sprinklers and water table time with friends:

One that the kids came up with for our summer fun list this year was "Home Restaurant Night." The kids wrote up a menu for Ryan and I, and they acted as waiters and chefs while Ryan, me, and Ivy got to order and be served! I thought it was pretty awesome, though I think they realized how tiring it would be to run a real restaurant:

We tried to fit in as much fun as we could the last week before school starts. We played with friends at the park:

Went to a movie (Toy Story 4):

Did our annual backyard campout (complete with s'mores from the microwave):

Stormchasers baseball game at Werner Park! We actually got to watch half the game this time!
