Our last morning in St. Louis we visited the Science Center for a couple of hours (free!). It was really awesome! I wish we had a place like that here in Omaha!
Learning about Mars:
Learning about pipes and construction:
Human gerbils:
Dinosaurs:
Hyrum built a pretend dinosaur skeleton!
Hyrum conquered the Hanoi Tower with 3 and 4 rings, and Cora conquered it with all 5 rings!
We stopped for lunch at St. Louis Bread Co., which was what Panera bread used to be called!
In the afternoon, we went to the Independence Visitor's Center to learn about the Saints' time there in Missouri:
We also stopped at Liberty Jail, where some very poignant chapters of D&C were revealed. It's amazing how such a small, unsuspecting building housed such wonderful revelations that have personally impacted my life many times.
We also stopped to see the Kansas City temple before we headed home the next day. So beautiful!
